ABOUT FLIP FOR JOY
Flip For Joy was founded in October 2011 by two good friends who enjoy reading to their children. While it was easy to find a wide variety and selection of English books, Chinese books didn't seem as easily accessible. Where could we purchase good quality Chinese books that were fun and engaging? Not satisfied to limit our selection to those available locally, we started looking internationally. We started buying interesting titles for ourselves and over time, our friends started asking us to purchase books for them too! Thanks to their encouragement, we decided to take a leap of faith and start Flip For Joy, so as to share this excellent selection with fellow parents.
Meiru is a trained Chinese language teacher with experience teaching in a local junior college and a mother of two. She is passionate about reading, the learning of the Chinese language and raising bilingual children. Her quality curation and professional recommendations have benefited many families and pre-schools in Singapore and overseas.
